4 things you may not know.
Let's talk shall we. Let me tell you that i am one of those weird quirky people. I have many likes and maybe not as many dislikes. This could take all day! >_< I will make this short and sweet. I would like to say that i was inspired by You Know It Happens at Your House Too. So here it is.1. This guy right here. I cannot stand these movies! I have to say that there is something really creepy about this damn doll. Ever since i was a child my mother collected these child like dolls and i am pretty sure this started the whole epidemic. Something about an evil child like doll makes me want to hide under the covers!! it could be the way their eyes "follow" you when you are walking. Like they are going to unlock themselves outta the china cabinet and attack me. This is like a nightmare come true. i know it's an odd fear to have, but let's be serious. Evil children and evil dolls that look like children just scare the pants off me.
2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE music. I mean love it!!! I listen to music for about 3/4 of my day and it always has an effect on me. On top of this fact, i sing. And i mean i sing all the time, to every song on the radio. In high school and a little before that i took chorus classes! I was in love it the whole process. The music itself, the lyrics, even the history of it. I love singing. It makes me feel better. And i have to say that most of the time i am home alone, singing at the top of my lungs, ( beautifully of course ) to every song i know. ( which is pretty much everything.) Being in music classes gave me this innate ability to remember things word for word, the beats, the rhythm.. oh yes, all up here in my head. I even had the pleasure of singing with my chorus group in New York's Carnegie Hall! I can't tell you what an honor it was to be on the same stage where many greats have been. It was the pinnacle of my chorus "career". Something about the way music can fit into your every mood...like the artists know how you are feeling that day! Ah, i love me some beautiful music. i once wanted to sing opera!!
3. Food and cooking. Yes, if you know what i look like, you would never believe that. Cooking brings me so much joy and i can cook damn near anything. If i don't know how to make a certain something, i will figure it out. It always turns out to be both pleasing to the eye and the the pallet. My family has always been in the restaurant business in one form or another. I think this sparked my love for cooking. My favorite room in the house is my kitchen and i spend a lot of my time there! I love the smells and sounds the food cooking and of course with that i love the pleasure of good company. Nothing makes this woman happier than having a bunch of people together in my home with the smells of home cooked food and the sound of happiness and laughter. Something about cooking and serving makes me feel happy. I am very passionate about cooking. I have catered a wedding ( a success) and i have prepared cakes that make people go " Wow!!" Yeah, that's me, Suzie home-maker. ;)
And there it is. I am sure that there are other things that i like, dislike, and that are odd about me.. ( my lack of wanting to match my socks, my obsession with liquid deliciousness, My huge love for David Bowie, ~that's right... i love Mr. Bowie.~ and my huge love of books. Yep, i'm that nerdy! my love for everything odd and of course, my need to know everything i can get my hands on.
